Jay Grant-Wright
Meet Justin Grant-Wright, affectionately known as "Jay," a committed Quality Process Improvement Coordinator at Loos & Co., Inc. - Cableware Division. Simply put, he is one of your go-to people for all things Quality. Jay meticulously oversees in-process Quality Measurements, drives Process Improvement initiatives, actively participates in internal auditing, ensures all company onboarding policy, and skillfully identifies and implements LEAN/Six Sigma Methodologies. Additionally, he plays a crucial role in ensuring safety as the acting Safety Manager. Much like his company, Jay is all about “People and Safety”.
Switching gears from the medical field to aerospace manufacturing well over 2 years ago, Jay embraced the challenge with unwavering determination. His education in Surgical Technology initially had him in the operating room, but his true passion lay in connecting with patients. Over 17 years, Jay dedicated himself to various specialized roles in medical field.
Venturing into the manufacturing industry, Jay has developed a newfound passion for Business Development and Growth. Since joining, he has earned a Yellow Belt Certification within Six Sigma and is currently working with his team to obtain additional Company-Wide Certification, contributing to the organization's financial growth. Grateful for the support from his current position, Jay has earned additional certificates and is actively pursuing his bachelor’s in science.
Together with his spouse and two daughters, Jay is devoted to making a positive impact on various causes. As licensed foster parents for over five years, they have provided a temporary home for numerous children, leading to the joyful addition of their NOW daughter. Going the extra mile in their altruistic endeavors, they contribute to local community organizations through activities such as organizing food drives, participating in beach/community clean-up projects, volunteering with youth charities, supporting local LGBTQ+ entities, and championing the Collier County Community. Some of the community organizations their family has committed to includes Youth Haven, Fostering Success, Freedom Waters Foundation, Guadalupe Center, St. Matthew’s House, Valerie’s House, Taste of Immokalee, and Keep Collier Beautiful.
In his dedicated roles at Loos & Co., Inc. - Cableware Division, Jay exemplifies a commitment to excellence and a passion for the well-being of both people and processes. Alongside his spouse and his daughters, he actively contributes to various community causes showcasing their values of compassion. Jay emerges not only as a skilled professional but also as a caring individual dedicated to community involvement and hopes to leave a positive influence on those around him.
