We want to introduce you to Alex!
Alex is our Director of Talent Initiatives and has been with the Leadership Collier Foundation of Greater Naples Chamber for 4 years. She helps to connect educators and students to local employers and to address challenges employers are facing with their workforce.
From talent resources and emerging talent to childcare issues and workforce training, Alex is our go-to.
Alex was named Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) 2021 Forty Under 40 which recognizes the top emerging leaders in the chamber of commerce industry who have demonstrated success in their careers and made contributions in their communities. In 2019, Alex was selected to participate in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Business Leads Fellowship Program to enhance her learning of various workforce strategies from other Chamber professionals across the nation.
Alex is a proud Leadership Collier Class 2022 soon-to-be graduate and an Associate Leadership Collier Class of 2017 graduate. She serves on various boards and committees such as, Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida Board Member, Board Chair of the Collier County Public School NAF Advisory Board and sits on the school-based NAF committees, member of the FGCU’s Advisory Board for PAGES Program, and a member of the Child’s Path Advisory Board. Alex also serves as co-chairs for committees with Future Makers Coalition and Future Ready Collier.
Alex is a true “Neapolitan” as she was born and raised in Naples, FL. She is a proud alumnus of Florida Gulf Coast University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship.
Alex is married to her husband, John, and they have a son named Jack, a daughter named Emmie, and chocolate Labrador named Bowen. They love boating, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
What can Chamber members come to you for? If our members are facing challenges or having concerns with their workforce, we want to know! Letting us know about these areas, helps us better advocate for employers in our community and help find solutions or resources to help alleviate these pain points.

Best Advice you have ever received: Learn to be comfortable with being uncomfortable and this means asking those difficult questions or speaking up in meetings. Also, to not take myself so seriously and laugh off those embarrassing moments then learn how to not do it again. 😊
