Collier County Government and Greater Naples Chamber partnered together and chose Marco Office Supply as the February 2024 Business of the Month. An award was presented to Marco Office Supply at the Collier County Board of County Commissioners meeting on February 13, 2024.

Each month, the award is presented to an organization that has enhanced the community through financial, volunteer, and active involvement in organizations and programs that assist in creating a better quality of life for all citizens in Collier County. The company chosen will also be featured at the following Wake Up Naples/Chamber Conversation event.

The Collier County Board of County Commissioners and Donna Jannine, Director of Government Relations at Greater Naples Chamber, presented Gine Sisbarro, Co-owner and Sales Representative, Phil Penzo, Owner, and John Ryan, Sales Representative from Marco Office Supply with a commemorative plaque at the February 2024 County Commission meeting.

With their headquarters based in Naples and their retail store on Marco Island, Marco Office Supply is a local independent dealer who chooses to say they are much more than just paper clips. Their product line includes basic supplies, cartridges, janitorial products and equipment, first aid and safety, school supplies, PPE, Breakroom, and Promotional and Print.

Marco Office Supply's culture is a family culture with staff who have been there since the doors first opened, family-man and owner Phil Penzo truly cares about his staff. While many office supply businesses end up being bought out by corporate dealers, Marco Office Supply remains steadfast as a main supplier in the area due to their ability to find solutions, such as during the COVID-19 pandemic when there were shortages of necessary products, they negotiated outside of their regular suppliers to ensure their customers would feel comfortable and have everything they needed.

Marco Office Supply gives back to their community in a variety of ways. With many nonprofits as clients, they make sure to keep their prices low to ensure as much money can be put toward each organization's causes as possible. Other ways they have contributed include giving away furniture to nonprofits and helping local businesses with furniture needs after hurricane damage, building homes with Habitat for Humanity, volunteering at Meals of Hope, donating printers and microwaves to nonprofit organizations, and even donating a unit from their retail building on Marco Island to a local teen and youth theater.

Marco Office Supply will be acknowledged at the next Wake Up Naples.
