Congratulations to the November 2023 Business of the Month

Business of the Month

Collier County Government and Greater Naples Chamber partnered together and chose Regions Bank as the November 2023 Business of the Month. An award was presented to Regions Bank at the Collier County Board of County Commissioners meeting on November 15, 2023.

Each month, the award is presented to an organization that has enhanced the community through financial, volunteer, and active involvement in organizations and programs that assist in creating a better quality of life for all citizens in Collier County. The company chosen will also be featured at the following Wake Up Naples/Chamber Conversation event.

The Collier County Board of County Commissioners and Bethany Sawyer, VP of membership and investors at Greater Naples Chamber, presented Eric Trevino, Branch Manager, Alon Naftali, Commercial Banking, Cynthia Valenti Smith, Mortgage Production Manager, and Lisa Shuryn, SBA Commercial from Regions Bank with a commemorative plaque at the July 2023 County Commission meeting.

Regions Financial Corporation is a member of the S&P 500 Index and is one of the Nation's largest full-service providers of consumer and commercial banking, wealth management, and mortgage products and services. Their mission is to make life better for their customers, associates, and communities by creating shared value as they help them meet their financial goals and aspirations.

Founded in 1837, Regions Financial Corporation has over 20,000 employees with 116 of them in Lee and Collier county alone. In 2018, they adopted a more strategic approach toward supporting their communities, including a clear focus on creating and supporting more inclusive prosperity alongside their mission to make life better for the communities they serve.

Regions Bank’s focus is to help level the playing field. They want more people to have the chance to succeed within their communities, focusing their time, talents, and financial resources toward causes that empower people and elevate the neighborhoods they’re a part of. Their strategy is based on three key priorities: Economic & Community Development, Education & Workforce Readiness, and Financial Wellness. These values can be seen in their partnerships and support of Guadalupe Center, Pace, Collier Comes Together Fund after Hurricane Ian, and HELP.

Regions Bank will be acknowledged at the next Wake Up Naples.
