Congratulations to the Q4 Business of the Quarter!
Congratulations to the Q4 Business of the Quarter!
The Collier County Government and Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce have partnered to recognize Spherion Staffing & Recruiting as the Fourth Quarter Business of the Month. This prestigious award was presented to Spherion at the Collier County Board of County Commissioners meeting on December 10, 2024.
Each quarter, this award honors an organization that has significantly enhanced the community through financial contributions, volunteer efforts, and active involvement in programs that improve the quality of life for all citizens in Collier County. The selected company will also be featured at the upcoming Wake Up Naples/Chamber Conversation event.
At the December 2024 County Commission meeting, representatives from Spherion Staffing & Recruiting received a commemorative plaque from Kristina Park, President & CEO, Bethany Sawyer, Vice President of Membership, and Investors at the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, and the Collier County Board of County Commissioners.
Spherion Staffing & Recruiting, established in 2011, has been dedicated to driving careers, growing businesses, and bettering the Naples community. Their mission is to match hardworking individuals with successful Naples businesses, contributing to the city's growth and prosperity.
As a small business, Spherion has made significant contributions to the community, including volunteering and donating $1,000 annually to various local charities such as Beverly's Angels and Harry Chapin Food Bank. They host an annual Backpack & Supply Giveaway for Osceola Elementary and other local schools. Their sponsorships include the Disrupt HR 2.0 Conference, where their National EVP speaks to foster learning and development for HR and entrepreneur professionals in Naples. They also maintain yearly sponsorship and involvement with WIN (Warm Introductory Networking), a non-profit organization that supports veterans and their families.
In addition to these efforts, Spherion conducts an annual Community Giveback Campaign, donating $1,000 and their time to local organizations. Last year, they cooked and fed veterans at the American Legion Post 303, and this year, they will volunteer at the Harry Chapin Food Bank. Furthermore, Spherion awards $3,000 annually for higher education through the Sandy Mazur Excellence in Leadership scholarship, promoting these funds locally and making them available to aspiring post-secondary students in any Spherion city.
Spherion Staffing & Recruiting will be honored at the next Wake Up Naples event.
