Greater Naples Chamber hosts Member Showcase on Nov. 4
The Naples Chamber held its most recent Member Showcase on Nov. 4, 2021, hosting 50 businesses at Flexjet Naples.
Attendees had the opportunity to learn about products and services available from businesses in Collier County, while mingling with guests in the hanger.
“This is a great event to find out about local businesses here in Collier County,” said Bethany Sawyer, vice president of membership at the Greater Naples Chamber. “Hosting our annual Member Showcase allows the community to see what services and products some of these local businesses provide and can help stimulate the economy.”
Connecting and supporting local businesses through means of networking, gave business owners and employees the opportunity to meet others in the business community.
The event’s leading priority is to educate and serve those throughout Collier County who represent, develop, and serve new business, clients, and residents.
Through a variety of tabling booths showcasing their most recent services and products, Chamber members learned about recent business expansion and innovations providing the Collier community the shared purpose of maintaining successful development and lifestyle.
Through networking, a blend of workers and employers, representing their business’ mission, all shared one common purpose: pursuing developmental and economic success for Collier County.
“This event is a valuable opportunity because its an educational experience. Attendees gain insight of other members and people were able to hear the stories and see the passion behind everyone’s businesses,” said Sawyer.
Sawyer explained this hands-on experience created a more social concept for those presenting products or sharing the focus of their business ventures.
From medical, law, retail, non-for-profit organizations, real estate, universities and others, participants represented a myriad of businesses and their values each contributing to the community and competition.
As a once-a-year event, the Chamber’s Member Showcase provides businesses the chance to participate in both a rewarding and supportive get-together where everyone is working to stimulate economic success.
“Our job is to drive the economy of Collier County, and one of the ways to do that, is to host events such as this one - where businesses can explain their businesses and feel good about the work they do,” said Sawyer.
The November event was originally scheduled for 2020, but was postponed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Chamber team worked with Maura Batcheller, the owner services manager at Flexjet in Naples, to ensure attendees had a safe and enjoyable experience.
