Greater Naples Chamber president and CEO joins Collier Coalition for Healthy Minds

The Greater Naples Chamber is excited to announce Kristina Park, the organization’s president and CEO, has joined the Collier Coalition for Healthy Minds. The coalition was formed as a community response to the mental health and addiction crisis.

“I’m excited to join the Collier Coalition for Healthy Minds because mental health is not just a personal issue, it’s a community issue that directly impacts our businesses and our economy,” said Park. “When our workforce grapples with mental health challenges, it negatively impacts our businesses and, ultimately, the entire community. By prioritizing mental health and well-being, we can create a healthier, more productive workforce, attract and retain top talent, and foster a thriving economy for everyone in our community.”
Collier Coalition for Healthy Minds includes healthcare, social service, legal and justice system professionals and advocates charged with mobilizing Collier County’s first-ever, five-year mental health and addiction services strategic plan. The coalition raises awareness about a variety of issues including the need for expanded access to behavioral health care, housing and transportation.

“I’m thrilled that Kristina has joined the Collier Coalition for Healthy Minds. Having her involved is absolutely crucial,” said Scott Burgess, chairman of the Collier Coalition for Healthy Minds Board of Directors and president and CEO of the David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health. “The Chamber’s involvement sends a powerful message: mental health is a priority for economic growth and workforce development. It highlights the Coalition's commitment to creating a healthy and thriving community for everyone and ensures that businesses are a key part of the conversation and the solution."

The Greater Naples Chamber is also a proud partner of the Collier Coalition for Healthy Minds.

The Chamber was a major supporter of the 2018 infrastructure sales surtax initiative, which raised more than $490 million for infrastructure projects, including the creation of the Collier County Behavioral Health Center, throughout Collier County. The Chamber has also identified health care, including access to mental health care, as one of its 2025 public policy priorities.
