Naples Chamber Board of Directors approves 2022 legislative priorities

The Greater Naples Chamber Board of Directors recently voted to approve the Chamber’s 2022 legislative priorities.

The 2022 legislative priorities were crafted following input from the Chamber Board of Directors, the Chamber’s government relations committee and various community partners.

The 2022 legislative agenda centers around talent development, focusing heavily on access to early childhood education and workforce education. The Chamber also supports Collier County’s request to build a state veterans’ nursing home on county-owned property.

“We have a talent-based agenda,” said Michael Dalby, the president and CEO of the Greater Naples Chamber. “From supporting initiatives that incentivize child care providers to offer infant care, to fully funding workforce education programs provided by the state technical college system, we believe our 2022 legislative priorities are aligned with our mission of cultivating economic opportunity for all.”

The Chamber also continues to support a wide range of policies at the local, state and federal level including efforts to make housing accessible to our workforce, protect valuable natural resources, support those with mental or behavioral health concerns, and provide economic sustainability to businesses that want to expand or relocate to the area.
