Golf enthusiasts, business leaders, and community supporters gathered at The Strand on October 2, 2023, for a day of camaraderie and competition at the annual Greater Naples Chamber Gallagher Golf Classic Tournament. This year's event was a resounding success, and it showcased incredible skill, good sportsmanship, and a commitment to making a difference in the Greater Naples community.

Closest to the Pin - Aiming for Precision

The tournament featured some remarkable moments of precision, as golfers took their best shots to secure the title of "Closest to the Pin." In the men's category, Steve Dombkowski displayed incredible accuracy, landing his shot at 8'10". In the women's category, Kim Layton took home the honor, hitting a shot at 7'.

Longest Drive - Reaching for Greatness

On the fairways of The Strand, golfers showcased their incredible power in the "Longest Drive" competition. Griffin Klein, in the men's category, launched a drive that seemed to defy gravity. In the women's category, Alice MacDonough displayed an impressive combination of strength and technique, sending the ball soaring down the course.

1st Place Team - A Winning Combination

The tournament also celebrated team success, with one team rising above the rest. Galt Insurance, a group of talented individuals who displayed exceptional teamwork and skill, secured the coveted 1st place title. Their collective efforts and strategic play paid off in a big way, proving that success in golf, much like in business, often depends on collaboration and cooperation. Congratulations to Mike Pynnonen, John Rounding, Sam Hershoff, and Griffin Klein!

Most Honest Team - Playing with Integrity

While every golfer strives for perfection on the course, the Most Honest Team award recognizes those who play with integrity, sportsmanship, and a sense of fair play. Dal Lago Law/Porsche displayed these values throughout the tournament, earning them the well-deserved title of the Most Honest Team. Congratulations Juan Hernandez, Dillan MacDonald, Mike Dal Lago, and Christian Haman!
