You are invited to the 2025 Southwest Florida Resiliency Summit, hosted by the Coastal & Heartland National Estuary Partnership. This public event will coincide with this year’s Florida Resilience Conference. The Summit will focus on responding to environmental challenges and building resiliency in our communities through presentations, discussions, question and answer sessions, and networking opportunities.

When: September 16th and 17th, 2025.
Location: Sunseeker Resort - 5500 Sunseeker Way, Charlotte Harbor, FL 33980).
It is being held immediately prior and co-located with this year’s statewide Florida Resilience Conference.
The 2-day event registration fee is $30.

This Summit brings together the public, scientists, land managers, policymakers, and resource users to discuss the latest regional resiliency science and how to further address challenges impacting Central and Southwest Florida. Experts from a variety of organizations will be presenting, including:
- Dr. Carolina Maran (South Florida Water Management District)
- Dr. Peter Sheng (University of Florida)
- Dr. Charles Jacoby (University of South Florida).
This in-person event will have numerous networking opportunities to allow participants to build new connections and collaborations. Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) may be available for Professional Engineers and Professional Geologists upon request.
