The 2026 Nick Linn Lecture Series is the major fund raiser for the Friends of the Library. This series event includes four best-selling authors. The third author in this series is Michael Koryta (his pen name is Scott Carson) who is a New York Times best-selling author whose work has been lauded as “a master” by Stephen King and “the best of the best” by Michael Connelly. His books have been translated into more than 20 languages and won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, Great Lakes Book Award, Alex Award, and Barry Award, in addition to being nominated for the Mystery Writers of America’s Edgar® Award multiple times. Michael has written for the screen in both feature film and television, and the film adaptation of “Those Who Wish Me Dead” starred Angelina Jolie, Nicholas Hoult, Tyler Perry, Jon Bernthal and Aidan Gillen, directed by Taylor Sheridan. Ticket prices start at $625 and include four luncheons, lectures and book signing. This is a members only event.  Memberships start at $40 for a full year.
