The Conservancy of Southwest Florida is hosting its annual Earth Day Festival, presented by Bronco Wild Fund and your Local Ford Dealers, on Saturday, April 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This no-cost family-friendly event features food trucks, face painting, arts and crafts, games, Glen Beitman’s Super Science Show, boat rides, animal encounters, vendors and special presentations.
Admission to the Earth Day Festival is free. The event will take place on the Conservancy campus and at the Nature Center, located at 1495 Smith Preserve Way in Naples. Scheduled activities include guided tree walks, puppet shows, a presentation on snakes, gopher tortoise grazing, baby alligator encounters and much more. Food trucks will also be on-site for dining.
Additionally, festival attendees will have the opportunity to visit with several of the Conservancy’s environmental partners, including Audubon of the Western Everglades, Big Cypress National Preserve, Captains for Clean Water and the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation.
