In the November 25 Science Nite, Marine Scientist Ellen Prager and Meteorologist Dave Jones use humor, easy-to-understand language and fun illustrations to answer zany and frequently asked questions about the ocean, atmosphere and climate change. Their unique combination of understandable science and humor has gained broad attention through packed presentations, television interviews and on podcasts such as with comedian Paula Poundstone. Rookery Bay’s Science Nites serve up an interesting mix of nature, wildlife and environmental topics suitable for all ages. Science Nites also includes a scavenger answer hunt to win prizes, food and drinks as well as time for mingling with fellow participants amongst interactive displays, aquaria and an art exhibit in the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center.
