Description
Youth Haven, Collier County’s only emergency and residential shelter for abused and neglected children ages 6 to 21, is pleased to announce its Healing Youth Luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 12. Hosted at Sea Salt in partnership with owners Ingrid and Chef Fabrizio Aielli, the luncheon is held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Guests will hear inspiring stories and learn how their support can create transformational change in the lives of the children and teens who call Youth Haven home. This meaningful afternoon will feature keynote speaker Victor Rivas Rivers, a best-selling author, actor and national advocate against domestic violence. A survivor of severe childhood abuse, his story highlights the importance of healing, advocacy and community, key themes that align with Youth Haven’s mission. Corey Lazar, WINK News anchor, will emcee the event. The event’s media sponsor is Gulfshore Life. Individual tickets are $200.
