Description

Join LCF Alumni to learn about the unique characteristics of Corkscrew Swamp with Sanctuary experts and then enjoy a guided boardwalk tour into the swamp with interpretive stations to learn about prescribed fire, fish traps and research, and drone photography. Watch the sunset from the boardwalk and listen to the shift in sounds, as the day changes to night, while you walk back to the visitor center. Light refreshments will be provided at the visitor center at the conclusion of the tour.

Arrival time: Please arrive by 3pm to attend the presentations prior to the boardwalk.  Please arrive no later than 4pm to attend the boardwalk portion of the event.  Recommended attire: comfortable clothing and walking shoes. Water and insect repellent is also recommended.
