Description
LCF Alumni are invited to a private Everglades experience hosted by The Everglades Foundation. The day will include bus transportation from Naples with a stop at Shark Valley for short walking tour, followed by a private Airboat Tour guided by our Chief Scientist, Dr. Steve Davis, at Tiger Tail in the heart of the Everglades, owned and operated by the Miccosukee Tribes, and conclude with lunch under the Chickee hut before a bus ride back to Naples.
What to wear/bring: Weather appropriate clothing, comfortable walking shoes, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray. Water, snacks, and lunch will be provided; please provide any dietary requests in advance.

7:30am – 8am – Load Bus at Naples Zoo parking lot (in the back near Greenway entrance)
8am – Bus departs 9:30am – Walking Tour and Restroom break at Shark Valley
10:30am – Airboat tour at Tiger Tail
12pm – Lunch 1pm – Bus departs for Naples
2:30pm – Bus arrives at Naples Zoo parking lot; event concludes
