The Regional Economic Research Institute at Florida Gulf Coast University and FutureMakers Coalition at Collaboratory will discuss the current data, trends and solutions surrounding workforce development in Southwest Florida. The conversation will include an informative discussion on the Southwest Florida Equitable Jobs Pipeline, an innovative model for improving workforce outcomes in the region.
What is the SWFL Equitable Jobs Pipeline? Florida Gulf Coast University, in partnership with FutureMakers Coalition at Collaboratory, have been awarded a $22.9M investment in workforce and economic development from the Department of Commerce’s Good Jobs Challenge.
