Wake Up Naples is a Chamber breakfast event designed to provide important and unbiased information relevant to issues which could impact our members. Our panel of local tourism industry experts include:
John Lai - President & CEO,Sanibel Captiva Chamber of Commerce.
A Lee County resident for more than 30 years, John has also been in tourism & hospitality for over 30 years - to include operating resorts on Sanibel & Captiva, and in Clearwater & Vero Beach. He serves as Chair on the Visit Florida Board, is Past-Chair of the FL Association of Chamber Professionals, and was a member of the Lee County Hurricane Recovery Task Force. Read John's bio here.
Michael D. “Mick” Moore - Owner, Vanderbilt Beach Resort. 
Growing up in Naples and attending the Naples local schools, he went on to graduate from law school in 1996. In 2004, Mick left the full-time practice of law to help run the family's hospitality businesses – the Vanderbilt Beach Resort and the Turtle Club Restaurant. He works full time in both hospitality businesses but also continues to practice law part-time, and is involved with several local non-profit organizations including the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce. Clark W. Hill, C.H.A. - General Manager, Hilton Naples
General Manager of the AAA Four Diamond Hilton Naples featuring Shula's Steak House in Naples, Florida, a position he has held for the past twenty-four years, Clark is also Vice Chair of the Tourist Development Council and serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association, Collier County Chapter. Christopher Lopez - Regional Director of External Affairs and Membership, Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association SWFL 
In his role with FRLA, he works with industry leaders to advocate, educate and engage with the hospitality and tourism industries. FRLA are fierce promoters of the Tourist Development Tax and Visit Florida promotional funding. Chris has a long career in government affairs, external affairs, community investment and public relations for organizations in southwest Florida like TECO Peoples Gas, Tampa Electric, the Royal Palm Coast Realtors Association and multiple congressional representatives. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS: All registration fees are non-refundable or exchangeable. Only cancellations requested 5 business days prior to the event will be considered for a full refund. If the event is postponed, registrations will be honored for the new date of the event.
