Qualifications:

  • Participates in strategic internal and external meetings to generate innovative solutions for clients and provides recommendations for an array of commercial lines property & casualty insurance, including surety, employee benefits and other specialty commercial lines.
  • Follows agency procedures for placing business (new and renewals) to include the gathering of information (applications and all other required documentation), preparation of quality submissions, identification of appropriate markets, following up on and comparing quotes.
  • Leads the EPIC activities, including workflow processes, billing processes, structuring & generating reports for accounting, IT, and agency management.
  • Prepares proposals and presentations and assists Producers in the delivery of the proposal in a client facing role when requested.
  • Manages post binding subjectivities and appropriately documents & follows up until completed.
  • Participates in pre-renewal, renewal and claims review meetings with clients, as necessary.
  • Responsible for maintaining accuracy of client files, and consistent documentation in EPIC.
  • Identifies internal and external resources and utilizes them to effectively bring value to clients.
  • Maintains excellent communication with prospects and clients at all stages of the account cycle.  Also maintains excellent communication with internal and external colleagues.
  • Provides sound recommendations and guidance to clients on insurance programs.
  • Strict adherence to procedures and deadlines; communicates the needs to the account team
  • Prepares invoices in timely manner in accordance with agency procedures and follows up on collection as needed.
  • Reviews quotes and policies to ensure accurate policy terms and conditions as requested.
  • Oversees the issuance and processing of endorsements, certificates of insurance, evidence of property insurance, auto ID cards and any other type of coverage verification prepared by the support team in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Manages workflow processes within the agency management system to ensure the most efficient use of time.
