The Sehgal Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) private foundation established in 1998 to support rural development across India, is seeking a highly qualified Director of Fundraising executive to be based in Naples or Fort Myers to lead and manage all aspects of fundraising in Florida, including the solicitation, development, and stewardship of donors, including philanthropic, endowment, and private sector organizations, as well as individual and family office donors that believe in the important mission of the Sehgal Foundation to support the Foundation's impressive programs and initiatives in India. The Sehgal Foundation is active in agriculture development, education development, health care development, water resources development, female empowerment in education and governance, as well as technology development across the rural areas of India. The Director of Fundraising is a full-time position and the incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing a successful strategy for the Sehgal Foundation in Florida, including in the Naples, Fort Myers, Sarasota, St. Petersburg, and Tampa areas.

The candidate selected for this position will possess successful experience in fundraising and partner/donor relations with a proven track record for securing five and six figure donations, as well as strong foundation and private sector fundraising experience. Exceptional written and oral communication skills are required with the ability to craft thoughtful personal communications, compelling fundraising proposals, and additional communications, as required, to support Sehgal Foundation's fundraising requirements. Exceptional interpersonal skills are expected. The Sehgal Foundation is in the process of expanding its fundraising activities in Florida to accelerate its mission to support rural development across all regions in India.
