Financial and Operations Specialist
We are seeking a Financial and Operations Specialist to join our team and oversee the financial planning and accounting practices of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with financial institutions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and providing support in human resources and office management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage financial planning, budgeting, audits and forecasting activities.
- Maintain and improve accounting practices, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Timely processing of human resource functions such as payroll, taxes, new hires and benefits administration.
- Processing calendar and fiscal year-end financial reports.
- Supervise and assist administrative support staff.
- Handle general office management tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Work closely with the President to support business strategies and financial goals.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience in financial management or a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with financial software and accounting systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in human resources and office management is a plus.
- Ability to work in-office, Monday through Friday.
