Moorings Park is looking for a Foundation Coordinator. The Foundation Coordinator provides essential operational and administrative support to ensure the efficient functioning of the Foundation. This position is responsible for managing donor database records, processing gifts, generating reports, and assisting with financial reconciliation. The Foundation Coordinator also supports the planning and execution of events, maintains calendars and communications, and ensures accuracy and timeliness in all administrative processes. With strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, the Foundation Coordinator plays a vital role in strengthening the Foundation’s operations and advancing its mission.


Contributions:

Maintains and updates donor database records with accuracy, including gift entry, acknowledgments, and reporting.

Generates and distributes routine and custom reports to support fundraising, finance, and board reporting needs.

Responsible for gift processing, pledge tracking, and reconciliation in coordination with the Finance Department.

Manages calendars, schedules, and meeting logistics for Foundation staff and board/committee members.

Provides administrative support for fundraising events and programs, including invitations, RSVPs, materials, and onsite coordination.

Drafts, proofreads, and distributes correspondence, communications, and other Foundation materials.

Assists with preparing presentations, reports, and documentation for board and committee meetings.

Supports special projects and other duties as assigned to ensure smooth daily operations.


Job Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language required
  • During emergencies or natural disasters may be required to be on duty for the duration of the disaster.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

        3+ years of administrative, nonprofit, or office coordination experience.

        Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with donor databases/CRM systems preferred (e.g., DonorPerfect, Raiser’s Edge, or similar).
