The Southwest Florida (SWFL) Alliance of Braver Angels is a local chapter of a national, bipartisan nonprofit working to bridge the partisan divide, often focusing efforts in areas like Cape Coral. By bringing together "Red" (conservative) and "Blue" (liberal) citizens, the alliance seeks to depolarize communities, foster respectful dialogue, and reduce the negative impact of political polarization on local relationships and, Cape Coral Breeze reported. 

Goal: To depolarize Southwest Florida by encouraging, Braver Angels to engage in open, respectful conversation.

Activities: The alliance organizes workshops, such as "Depolarizing Within," to teach skills for navigating political differences, and hosts events in, Cape Coral and surrounding areas, Cape Coral Breeze.
