The Florida Everblades are Southwest Florida's professional ice hockey team which plays at Germain Arena in Estero. The Everblades compete in the ECHL, and serves as the premier AA affiliate of the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning & Carolina Hurricanes. The Everblades won their first league championship in 2012, and has provided fun family entertainment to the area since 1998.
