The Friends of the Library, a non-profit organization that financially help support the ten libraries in Collier County. Friends of the Library fund programs such as educational programs, resources to the children's reading programs, adult literary programs, the Mail-A-Book program which the Friends provides return postage for the home bound residents in Collier County, the Summer Reading program, the Enhancement program (each library submits a "wish list" of items that the county budget does not pay for and the Friends purchases needed items) and the Friends financially support E-Books. Fundraisers include the Nick Linn Lecture Series, the Nonfiction Author Series and the Author Spotlight Series.
