The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government. We register eligible voters and provide those voters with information on candidates, issues and how to go about voting. We influence public policy through Government, Education & Individuals and advocacy. Our goal is to empower citizens to take an active role in shaping better communities worldwide. We take positions on issues ranging from Environment, Government, Education & Individuals, Juvenile Justice and Social Policy.
