Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Announces Summer Lineup of Maximum Family Fun

Naples’ acclaimed cinema kicks off the summer with no-cost admission for kids at HappyLand Movie Miniature Golf starting July 1.

Naples, FL --- June 27, 2024 --- The acclaimed cinema-eatery Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is kicking off the summer season with an exciting lineup of fun movie activities for families at its new Naples location, along with no-cost admission for kids 14 and under at HappyLand Movie Miniature Golf to enjoy all year round.

“We are so excited to welcome families to our Naples theater this summer,” says General Manager Brock Cowgill of Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Naples. “Especially as the rainy season begins and the heat index rises, we have a bunch of awesome activities lined up in a cool and covered environment to make sure every visit is special and memorable for all ages.”

HappyLand Movie Miniature Golf

Tee off the summer at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema with HappyLand Movie Miniature Golf, located in the front lobby. Starting July 1, kids 14 and under now play for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult all year round. HappyLand welcomes guests as young as 3 years old to enjoy nine imaginative holes, each featuring an impressive sculpture inspired by some of our favorite films, including a giant T. rex and a hungry alligator. Located in the lobby, HappyLand opens 30 minutes before the first movie each day and closes just after the start of the final show of the evening. Guests can easily start a round by purchasing a token from the concierge and redeeming it at a golf ball vending machine. Tokens cost $7 for adults and every $20 spent at the HappyLand bar earns guests a free token.

Kids Camp

For over a decade, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema has offered Kids Camp screenings during summer and winter breaks, providing families with a fun and affordable way to experience their favorite movies on the big screen. From little kids to big kids and grown-up kids alike, tickets for Kids Camp screenings are just $5 throughout the summer. Each week features a new selection of films, ranging from recent animated favorites to timeless classics.

All proceeds from this year’s Kids Camp will support three organizations working to help kids in need: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in June, Shoes That Fit in July and Big Brothers Big Sisters in August. Most screenings at Kids Camp are suitable for ages 3 and older, however, some screenings are available for children of all ages. Please check the screening type before purchasing tickets. Children must be accompanied by an adult upon arrival and throughout the movie. Learn more about Kids Camp and purchase your tickets HERE.

Baby Days

Every Tuesday, the first round of movies at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Naples, starting in the 2 p.m. or 3 p.m. hour, parents can enjoy a little cinema R&R with Baby Day screenings, offering a baby-friendly environment to watch grown-up movies. Little ones age 2 and under get in for free and can sit on your lap.

Grab your diapers, bottles, pacifiers and your baby, and take back your time at the movies while served our full food and drink menu. During Baby Days, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema keeps the lights a bit brighter and the sound a bit lower, so you can easily find what you need or let your baby snooze through the film. Find a Baby Day screening and book your tickets HERE.

Family Parties

For an extra dose of fun, take the whole family to an immersive cinematic spectacular at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema’s Family Parties. Our theaters transform into fun-filled spaces where families can celebrate their favorite movies like INSIDE OUT 2 and DESPICABLE ME 4 with themed games, hands-on crafts and activities. Tickets include both the activities and the movie, ensuring a full day of fun. More information and upcoming shows can be found HERE.
