NAPLES, Florida (July 7, 2025) – Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (CMON) and SWFL Mahjong will feature their inaugural event, Mahjong at the Museum, on Wednesday, August 20 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at CMON.
Hosted by SWFL Mahjong, players will discover the perfect way to immerse themselves in the captivating game of American Mahjong. This engaging evening will have a selection of beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and hors d'oeuvres and will have three levels of play- beginner, open play, and VIP.
At the beginner level, priced at $100, players will learn the fundamentals and the flow of the game. Open play, which will give individuals a chance to sharpen their existing skills alongside fellow enthusiasts, is priced at $125. VIP Experiences are available for both beginner and open play, and include a personalized touch, a bottle of champagne, elevated snacks, and more for $200.
“SWFL Mahjong is proud to be at the center of the Mahjong renaissance happening right now in Southwest Florida. The energy and momentum are undeniable,” Said SWFL Mahjong Co-Founder Susan Frantz. “Partnering with the team at the Children’s Museum of Naples is a natural partnership as we both want to nurture bonds among families and generations and provide an exciting opportunity for families to play and learn.”

About the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples
A 501(C)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization founded in 2002, Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples is a brain-building powerhouse and Southwest Florida’s first museum devoted to children and families. CMON is a two-story, 30,000 square foot cultural institution with hands-on and fully accessible exhibits developed by experts in child psychology, including 8,000 square feet of outdoor play space. With hands-on exhibits, the accessible museum invites children and their caregivers to journey through the swamps of the Everglades, climb a two-story banyan tree, or experiment with the water play station. Children can become weather forecasters, farmers, chefs, artists, architects, veterinarians or anything else they can imagine. They will experience the whoosh of the wind, the sound of the sea, and the effects of gravity. Throughout the day, special activities encourage our guests to get involved, try something new, and make memories. CMON provides an exciting, inspiring environment where children and their families play, learn, and dream together.
