David Lawrence Centers appoints Lance Fenton as director of human resources
David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health, Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit behavioral health provider serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lance Fenton as director of human resources.
With over 15 years of experience as a progressive HR professional, Fenton has designed and led enterprise-wide initiatives in leadership development, succession planning and organizational effectiveness across public and private sectors, including healthcare, nonprofit and government. He excels in building strong talent pipelines, preparing organizations to meet current and future workforce needs, and aligning people and strategies with organizational goals to ensure long-term growth and sustainability.

After relocating from Minnesota in 2020, Fenton has become deeply rooted in the Southwest Florida community. He holds a Master of Arts in industrial/organizational psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Concordia University, St. Paul. He most recently served as director of learning and education at Naples Comprehensive Health, where he led the Center for Learning and Innovation.
