NAPLES, FL (August 19, 2024) – David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health (DLC), Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit behavioral health provider serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Wilkinson as chief financial officer.

Wilkinson previously worked in several positions in the finance department at DLC, demonstrating seven years of outstanding performance. He joined DLC as a staff accountant in 2012 and was recognized for his exemplary work ethic by receiving an Outstanding Team Player Award in 2013. In 2015, Wilkinson was promoted to accounting supervisor and was named Employee of the Year. His last role with the organization was as director of financial performance.

“Rob’s accounting, technology, finance and strategic talents are without question and, due to his extensive knowledge and history with DLC, I’m confident he’ll immediately integrate back into our team,” said Scott Burgess, chief executive officer of David Lawrence Centers. “Rob not only has the necessary skillsets to help our team thrive, but a passion and commitment to our mission to provide hope for Collier County community members in need. I am confident he will successfully advance our mission of care and support our growth.”

Wilkinson left DLC to pursue an MBA in 2019 and begin his own financial and business intelligence consulting independent practice.

“I look forward to working with the DLC team to help advance their mission to provide lifesaving and life-changing behavioral healthcare to Collier County community members,” said Wilkinson. “I am grateful for the support of the DLC team and am eager to get to work to support this incredibly important mission.”

Wilkinson received his MBA with a concentration in data analytics from Florida Gulf Coast University and his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Florida International University.

Prior to joining DLC as its chief financial officer, Wilkinson served as the director of finance and administration at Entech US, a consumer-centric computer services organization. He also previously served as the CFO of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collier County, as well as the director of finance at the United Way of Greater Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Most recently, he assisted DLC as an independent consultant to support the finance department with onboarding new staff members.

For more than 50 years, DLC has been committed to ensuring behavioral health care is available to everyone in need through education, prevention, intervention and treatment. DLC delivers care throughout the community through six distinct centers of operation, including mental health, addiction recovery, emergency services, awareness and prevention, virtual care, and children and young adults.
