David Lawrence Centers to host A Gift for the Caregiver event

David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health (DLC) Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit behavioral health provider serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce it will host “A Gift for the Caregiver,” a wellness event designed to support, lift and empower those dedicated to caring for others.

The event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon at Naples Botanical Garden. Tickets cost $10 and include light refreshments, giveaways and admission to Naples Botanical Garden until 5 p.m. Attendees can look forward to meaningful conversations around self-care, balance and boundaries while connecting with wellness vendors and resources.

“At DLC, we know that caregivers often put the needs of others before their own,” said Jessica Liria, director of prevention and education. “This event is our way of reminding caregivers that their mental and emotional well-being matters too. We want them to feel supported, connected and equipped with tools for self-care and resilience.”

“A Gift for the Caregiver” is sponsored by The Caregiver’s Journey, Naples Botanical Garden, Florida Blue and Seniors Blue Book.
