Inspired Closets SWFL returns as presenting sponsor of STARability’s Run, Walk & Roll 5K on Oct. 19

STARability Foundation is pleased to announce Inspired Closets SWFL will return as the presenting sponsor of its 7th Annual Run, Walk & Roll 5K on Saturday, Oct. 19. Following a record-breaking event that raised over $100,000 in 2023, participants of all abilities are invited to Paradise Coast Sports Complex in Naples and will enjoy a variety of post-race activities such as games, food trucks and music. This family- and pet-friendly event begins at 8 a.m.

As an exciting new incentive for this year’s race, participants that raise $500 or more as an individual or team fundraiser will receive a custom STARability belt bag as a token of appreciation. Racers are encouraged to fundraise with a company, friends or family by creating or joining an existing fundraising team to add more camaraderie and meaning to the event experience. The top teams will be recognized at the start of the race and in race communications following the event.

“We’re honored to be back as the presenting sponsor of STARability Foundation’s second largest fundraiser of the year,” said H.L. Burkley, owner of Inspired Closets SWFL.

Added co-owner Kerry Burkley: “STARability’s mission is extremely close to our hearts, and we are grateful for the opportunity to once again be part of this fun event to raise awareness for their lifechanging programs. We invite everyone and their furry friends to join us to support this worthy cause.”

H.L. and Kerry’s son, Henry, participates in STARability’s Jr. Trailblazer Academy, a life skills and vocational training program curated for high school students. He also received the Top STARability Participant award during the 2023 race.

Inspired Closets SWFL joins several other sponsors and underwriters who have stepped up to support this inclusive family- and pet-friendly event for all ages and abilities. Funds from the race directly support STARability’s life-transforming and innovative programs and services that empower its participants to learn, engage with the community, gain a sense of purpose and confidence to discover their abilities, and lead fulfilling lives.
