Kendra Scott hosts fundraiser to support David Lawrence Centers
NAPLES, FL (May 13, 2024) – David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health (DLC), Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit behavioral health provider, is excited to partner with Kendra Scott at Waterside Shops to support the work DLC is doing to provide hope for the future.
Kendra Scott will host a “Kendra Gives Back” shopping event benefiting DLC in-store from noon to 2 p.m. on May 24. Shoppers will also be able to support DLC through online purchases from May 24 through May 25, using the code “GIVEBACK-GOQBP.” DLC will receive 20% of proceeds from sales during the event.
“We are thrilled to partner with Kendra Scott to raise awareness about our community’s mental health crisis,” said Kimberly Dye, vice president of advancement at DLC. “We’re hopeful that this event will not only give community members a better understanding of the lifesaving and life-changing services we provide at DLC, but also shine a light on our efforts to provide hope for Collier County community members in need.”
Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to help DLC expand critical programs to meet an increasing demand for services.
For more than 50 years, DLC has been committed to ensuring behavioral health care is available to everyone in need through education, prevention, intervention and treatment. DLC delivers care throughout the community through six distinct centers of operation, including mental health, addiction recovery, emergency services, awareness and prevention, virtual care, and children and young adults.
