The Lee County Economic Development has been connecting with our state and federal resource partners for business support. They are requesting area businesses to complete the Business Impact Assessment Survey so they can identify the greatest needs and concerns.

City of Fort Myers

The City of Fort Myers anticipates – given the forecasted track – that offices will open today.


The City of Fort Myers is suspending residential and commercial solid waste collections until Monday, October 14th. Commercial and residential trash collection will resume at that time. Horticulture, recycling, and bulk collection are suspended until further notice as we focus on storm clean-up. Announcements to follow on when regular collections will resume.


If you have City of Fort Myers utilities inquiries, please reach us at 239-321-7150. At this time, our main 239-321-8100 line is down. We will provide an update when it is restored. Thank you for understanding.

The City of Fort Myers has prepared the below locations as post-storm response hubs for the community. City employees and volunteers will be available to advise of open facilities and offer information on resources available. Residents are welcome to visit these locations tomorrow, October 11th.

Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce is here for you, after the hurricane. If you need assistance, please reach out to us and we will work at getting you the help you need to get your businesses/organizations back up and running. The Chamber office is open for regular hours startin on Friday, October 11th.


If you can assist other businesses and/or communities that have needs please let us know.
