London Bay Homes’ new showcase estate at 2021 Gordon Dr. E. defines luxury living

London Bay Homes’ newest professionally designed showcase estate in Naples caters to the lifestyle homebuyers envision for their Southwest Florida paradise. Located on a prime corner homesite at 2021 Gordon Dr. E., a half block from the beach in Naples’ exclusive Aqualane Shores neighborhood, the two-story residence offers expansive outdoor living with a custom pool and spa, spacious main living areas and a clubroom for entertaining. A personal putting green provides the opportunity for private practice sessions, while the home’s desirable location is only a short stroll from the bustling dining and entertainment district of Third Street South and Fifth Avenue South.

London Bay Homes collaborated with Stofft Cooney Architects, Exteriors by Koby Kirwin and Romanza Interior Design to imagine the fully furnished five-bedroom estate, which features 7,208 square feet of light-filled interiors and 1,274 square feet of covered lanai spaces. It provides five full bathrooms, two half baths, laundry rooms on each floor, a butler’s pantry, elevator and a side-loading three-car garage.

“This estate is inspired by the desires and needs of our discerning custom clientele, starting with how it’s situated on the homesite for prized southern exposure,” said Toby Cloutier, director of business development for London Bay Homes. “It represents a collaboration with the area’s top talent and the personal involvement of our owner, Mark Wilson, who’s very hands-on. Designing a new home is a carefully orchestrated process that relies on the input and collaboration of all our partners, focusing on how each space flows and how each interior space relates to the outside.”

Clean-lined coastal contemporary architecture by Stofft Cooney is echoed by interior design features, including a 4-foot-wide pivoting entry door, a floating staircase, custom built-ins and dropped ceilings with scene-setting cove lighting. The master suite, which spans an entire private wing, offers his-and-her bathrooms connected by a shared shower– another “must-have” feature, according to Cloutier.

With an emphasis on entertaining and seamless indoor-outdoor living, the estate’s open-concept floor plan creates inviting, thoughtfully designed living spaces. The great room flows to an adjoining elegant social lounge with wine refrigerators and cabinetry connected by the state-of-the-art kitchen. A spacious open butler’s pantry houses additional appliances and ample cabinets.

“The estate has a lot of back kitchen space to keep the main kitchen clutter-free,” explained Cloutier. “Our private clients often want a butler’s pantry or catering kitchen to enhance entertaining.”

The gourmet kitchen offers a Wolf gas cooktop with a brushed stainless-steel hood, microwave and steam wall ovens, freezer drawers, a Miele coffee system and an oversized freestanding island.

Romanza Interior Design crafted a sophisticated palette of serene backdrops comprised of white porcelain and wide-plank oak flooring, custom cabinetry and millwork, including 10-inch baseboards with channel detailing. The great room’s fluted built-in features an asymmetrical contemporary design, while French doors, sliding glass and large windows extending to the floor elevate the connection between inside and outside, both visually and physically.

The estate features two spacious covered lanais complete with a summer kitchen offering a built-in stainless-steel grill with a custom hood, polished marbled backsplash, Dekton countertop and weathered driftwood oak cabinetry. The undercounter refrigerator, tongue-and-groove ceilings, and 6-foot fireplace built into a niche with a TV above provide added convenience and luxury detailing. Lush landscaping includes a sea grape tree and royal poincianas create a private oasis for the mosaic-tiled pool with a shallow sun shelf and floating spa.

Double French doors in the master bedroom with sidelights and transom windows provide direct access to the pool and outdoor living areas. The suite is embellished with custom ceilings and features dual walk-in closets, plus separate bathrooms spaces connected by an oversized glass-enclosed shower. One side offers a freestanding soaking tub, while both include vanities and water closets.

Envisioned as an inviting hangout and office, the clubroom features a built-in desk and linear bookshelves, a sun-filled lounge area and direct access to the putting green. As an architectural statement, the estate’s floating staircase has glass railings and opens up to a loft with a morning kitchen. Spanning nearly 3,000 square feet, the home’s second floor offers four spacious en-suite guestrooms that include custom built-in wardrobes, seating areas and direct access to covered balconies.

The estate at 2021 Gordon Dr. E. also offers an elevator, natural gas and whole-home generator plus two motor courts for guest parking. As a new construction home built above federal flood zone requirements with the highest quality materials and construction practices, homebuyers enjoy added peace of mind.

London Bay Homes is finalizing completion of an adjacent estate at 2075 Gordon Dr. E. The homes, offered as part of the award-winning builder’s exclusive Naples Collection, each feature prime corner homesites.

“We spent a considerable amount of time designing these estates to maximize livability and square footage on their lots,” said Cloutier. “Also, by controlling the construction schedule to complete the homes within the same timeframe, future homeowners don’t have to worry about ongoing construction.”

London Bay Homes is also finalizing construction of luxury estates on Rum Row, Gin Lane and Spyglass Lane in Port Royal.
