Registration is now open for STARability’s 7th Annual Run, Walk & Roll 5K on October 19

STARability Foundation is thrilled to announce the return of the Run, Walk & Roll 5K on Saturday, Oct. 19 at Paradise Coast Sports Complex in Naples. The event begins at 8 a.m., followed by exciting post-race activities such as games, food trucks and music. Tickets are $35; ages 12 and younger are free.

This inclusive, family- and dog-friendly, community-focused awareness event is STARability’s second largest benefit event of the year. Funds from the race help support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Southwest Florida, helping them engage in their community and thrive as they meet new goals and challenges.

Meg and Tyler Hardt will serve as co-chairs for the event. The couple has been avid supporters of STARability since 2021, with Meg joining STARability’s board of directors in 2022.

“We are honored to serve as the co-chairs for this incredible event,” said Meg. “STARability’s Run, Walk and Roll 5K is one of our favorite community gatherings because not only does it support an amazing cause that we are both passionate about, but it’s also a great time for the whole family! We hope the community will join us to make this year’s race the best yet!”

The event will feature STARability’s first-ever grand marshal duo of Sammy Callari and STAR participant Parker S.

“Parker and I are very excited and grateful to be the first Grand Marshal duo for the STARability 5K,” said Callari. “We encourage everyone to participate and showcase their abilities for this great cause!”
