Romanza Interior Design unveils three new models at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay
Romanza Interior Design, Naples’ premier boutique design firm, imparts a sense of place and refined coastal elegance in three models at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay. Inspired by the captivating views of Estero Bay and the Gulf, the fully furnished residences boast picturesque hues emulating the soothing natural colors of water, sky and white-sand beaches.
Created by Jennifer Stevens and Cassidy Claflin, model M06 on the mezzanine level features vibrant brushstrokes of transformative teal, aqua, pastel blues and grays complemented by neutral and cloud white backdrops, the former and the latter capturing 2026’s on-trend colors. “The palette creates a serene feeling while reflecting the various shades of the water outside,” said Stevens, Romanza’s senior design director. “Color and texture are carried throughout the residence, adding contrast and eye-pleasing dimension.”
Wallcovering in washed tones of teal and white embellished with microbeads presents the color palette immediately in the elevator foyer, illuminated by a chandelier with a multitude of opaque glass disks. The main hallway welcomes with an oversized framed feature wall painted in glossy deep teal, accented in the center by a textural metallic finish and contrasted by a bright triptych in waves of white and gray. Deeper teal tones and textures are emphasized in the adjacent den’s basket-woven wallcovering and modern suede love seat with two ottomans.
“The rest of the model has touches of teal and aqua in varying shades along with soft neutrals,” said Stevens. “This gives each room its own calming and welcoming personality.”
Teal accents are found in the living room’s frond-patterned console, the four barstools at the freestanding island and in artwork. The dining room features eight creamy white channeled chairs and a contemporary chrome chandelier. The neighboring wet bar is embellished with glass, bronze and gold accessories.
Two of the model’s guestrooms introduce texture via colored wallcovering in hues of soft blue and gray. The tranquil master suite’s upholstered white bed contrasts blue/gray grasscloth, while finishing touches include a plush teal bench, mirrored night tables and a nickel chandelier reminiscent of a candelabra. The suite’s well-lit custom closet includes a Lucite dressing table.
The model’s wraparound terrace is accentuated with private sitting and gathering areas featuring an upholstered sectional, a dining table and teal woven chairs.
Model 203, designed by Romanza Interior Design’s Michael Scott with associate Brittney Erjavec, speaks to the residence’s idyllic location. “We imagined the residence as a sophisticated coastal escape featuring classic design and sea blue tones,” said Scott, senior design director. “It’s inviting design has rich wood tones and a palette ranging from bright and soft blues to gray with touches of magenta, emerald green and pale yellow introduced in fabrics.”
The cheerful color scheme begins in the private elevator foyer, which also boasts a chrome and glass ring chandelier, its design echoed above the dining room table. The den, positioned off the foyer, is envisioned as a study with a clean-lined wood desk paired with a contemporary-styled chair. The room also features textural beige wallcovering, a sofa accented with bright blue-patterned pillows, demilune wood bookcases and a leather lounge chair.
Scott’s design in the adjoining living room, kitchen and dining room elevates the coastal feeling, with vibrant fabric patterns, shades of gray and griege, and medium wood tones in furnishings. The kitchen’s freestanding island has four barstools upholstered in fabric with an understated chevron pattern below a horizontal brushed nickel lighting fixture. The oval dining table comfortably seats eight with white slipcovered chairs featuring a marine blue border. Scott embellished the room’s main wall with metal-framed mirrors, fronted by a pair of cream-colored chairs and a dark wood console under artwork depicting a beach scene.
Each of the model’s three bedrooms conveys a distinct personality, rendered in shades of gray and blue. Striped and woven fabrics introduce the home’s seaside hues in the luxurious master suite as do soft aqua nightstands. The bed features a sculptural upholstered headboard while a light oak dresser with chrome pulls and a nearby chair with matching ottoman anchor the room. The secondary bedrooms boast palettes of bright and soft blue against white and gray backdrops.
For outdoor living and dining areas, Scott introduced a collection of ratan armchairs, loungers and a sofa.
Romanza Interior Design emphasizes modern, organic, textural and warm elements in the design of model 1605. Also completed by Stevens with associate Emily Behrndt, the residence achieves the aesthetic through natural materials and a neutral color palette with pops of cinnamon, chocolate brown, sand and olive green. “It evokes a sense of elevated organic elegance,” she said.
Sun-washed wood chevron-patterned wallpaper graces the ceiling and an accent wall in the foyer, which also features a statement-making brass chandelier with curving oak disks. Brass repeats in the linear chandeliers above the freestanding island with four contemporary-styled barstools and above the dining room table where the fixture is accented with glass and brass disks. The adjoining living room features a bird’s eye veneer media console with stone legs and a large sectional in cream textured fabric and leather. The curving silhouettes of side tables, a modern coffee table with a glass top and an armchair juxtapose the lines of the console.
The den features accents of cinnamon, olive green and cocoa brown in artwork and fabric and offers a sofa that converts to a bed and chaise. The sumptuous master bedroom continues the emphasis on natural materials, offering a walnut veneer dresser and an inviting cream-colored channeled upholstered headboard. “The gold threads in the bedding reflect back to the decorative lighting throughout,” said Stevens. The model’s second bedroom is awash in a neutral palette of gray, taupe and cream.
Like the living room, alfresco spaces also blend curves, clean lines and textures as seen in the modern sectional, two armchairs, the dining table with six woven chairs and the graceful arcs of sculptural contemporary chaises. “The outdoor furnishings mirror the neutral palette and keep the focus on the stunning views,” said Stevens.
