Shop & Share to support David Lawrence Centers planned for May 1

Waterside Shops will host a Shop & Share on Friday, May 1, benefiting David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health (DLC), Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit behavioral health provider. Proceeds from the event will support DLC’s work to address the region’s growing mental health needs.
The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at Waterside Shops and will feature live music and complimentary beverages. A portion of the day’s sales, 10 percent up to $25,000, will be donated to David Lawrence Centers. Attendees can also learn more about DLC’s services and ways to get involved from DLC Advocates, who are dedicated to raising awareness of mental health and substance use issues in Collier County.
“Partnerships like this directly expand access to care in our community,” said Jessica Liria, director of community wellness & impact at David Lawrence Centers. “We’re grateful to Waterside Shops for turning a day of shopping into meaningful support for individuals and families who rely on these services.”
For more than 55 years, DLC has been committed to ensuring behavioral health care is available to everyone in need through education, prevention, intervention and treatment. DLC delivers care throughout the community through six distinct centers of operation, including mental health, addiction recovery, emergency services, awareness and prevention, virtual care, and children and young adults.
