As Southwest Florida enters peak moving and renovation season, STARability Foundation is calling on the community to give back in a meaningful way by donating high-quality home furnishings and décor to its upscale Home Collection resale store.

Located in the Naples Design District, STARability’s Home Collection is more than a destination for beautifully curated interiors; it is a mission-driven social enterprise that directly supports programs for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Every donated item helps create life-changing opportunities for STARability participants while offering donors a simple, impactful way to make a difference.

The Home Collection is currently seeking gently used, high-end items, with a need for sofas, dining tables, consoles, chests of drawers and statement artwork. As many residents prepare to move or refresh their homes this time of year, these donations can be transformed into both revenue for vital programs and hands-on vocational experiences for participants.

“Each donation to our Home Collection does so much more than fill our showroom,” said Karen Govern, CEO of STARability Foundation. “This unique social enterprise provides meaningful training, builds confidence and creates real employment opportunities for our participants. At the same time, donors can feel good knowing their contributions are tax deductible and directly support a mission that changes lives.”

Curated by leading local designers, the Home Collection features a rotating selection of luxury furniture, artwork and décor, offering shoppers a unique opportunity to purchase beautiful pieces with purpose. Beyond retail, the store serves as an active learning environment where STARability participants gain valuable job skills in customer service, merchandising and operations.

Since its launch, the Home Collection has become a reflection of STARability’s broader mission to provide innovative, inclusive programs that empower people of all abilities to thrive through vocational training, continuing education and community engagement.

Community members can email photos and descriptions of items to HomeCollection@STARability.org to begin the donation process. All donations are tax deductible, and every piece accepted helps sustain and grow programs that serve hundreds of individuals across Southwest Florida.
