STARability Foundation hosts Family Forum: Caring for the Caregiver on Sept. 18

STARability Foundation will host a Family Forum focused on uplifting and empowering caregivers on Thursday, Sept. 18. The forum will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at STARability’s office located at 720 Goodlette-Frank Rd. N. Suite 400, Naples. This free event is open to the public.

Designed specifically for caregivers, whether a parent, sibling or support person, this interactive forum offers inspiration, practical tools and a sense of community. The event will feature keynote speaker Sue Ryan, an international speaker, coach, educator, best-selling author and award-winning caregiving advocate, sharing self-care tools and mindset shifts to help caregivers thrive on their journey.

Following the keynote presentation, Ryan will lead a dynamic panel of local experts from across the community, including Amanda Lukof, co-founder and CEO of Eleplan, Jamie Senkeleski, executive director of Trailways Camps, Lea Pascotto, manager of adult bereavement at AVOW Hospice, Hailey De Los Santos, community education specialist at David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health and Salima Silverman, adapted yoga and mindfulness expert. Together, they’ll connect with participants, discuss informative topics, share valuable insights and resources, and spark meaningful conversations in support for all caregivers. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy complimentary chair massages provided by Loretta Ortiz, licensed massage therapist and medical massage practitioner, from Living Better by Loretta.

Registration is required and space is limited. Reservations can be made online at STARability.org/upcoming-events or email lindsay@STARability.org.
