STARability Foundation launches monthly “Support. Learn. Connect.” webinar series for families and caregivers
STARability Foundation invites families and caregivers to join its ongoing “Support. Learn. Connect.” monthly lunch series. This free virtual program is designed to provide valuable resources, expert insights and a supportive community for those caring for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Held from 12 to 1 p.m. on the last Wednesday of each month, this informative and accessible webinar series offers participants the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals on a variety of important topics. Past sessions have included guidance on special needs trusts and estate planning, as well as understanding ABLE accounts and critical tools that help families plan for long-term financial security and independence.
Designed with caregivers in mind, each session delivers practical information, real-world strategies and actionable tools to help families navigate complex systems and make informed decisions for the future. Participants can join from the comfort of their home or office, making it easier than ever to stay connected and engaged.
“Providing families with knowledge and resources is essential to building confidence and creating opportunities for their loved ones to thrive,” said Karen Govern, CEO of STARability Foundation. “Through this monthly series, we’re creating a space where families can learn, ask questions and connect with others who share similar experiences.”
In addition to expert-led presentations, the series fosters a sense of community by connecting participants with one another and with trusted local resources. Topics rotate monthly to address the evolving needs and interests of families and caregivers.
The Support Services Lunch Series is free and open to the public. To receive updates on upcoming webinar topics and registration details, email supportservices@starability.org.
