STARability Foundation to host 2nd Annual Makers Market on March 21

Celebrating inclusive entrepreneurship and local creativity

STARability Foundation is proud to announce the return of its 2nd Annual Makers Market, taking place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 21. The event will be held at the THRIVEability Garden located at River Park Community Center, 301 11th St. N., Naples. This free, family-friendly community event welcomes spring with a vibrant morning of local shopping, meaningful connection and celebration of inclusive entrepreneurship.

The Makers Market will feature STARability’s participants exhibiting handcrafted products alongside local businesses and community partners. Guests can browse and shop a wide variety of offerings including jewelry, candles, home goods, plants, garden activities, baked goods, coffee and more, all while supporting meaningful employment and skill-building opportunities for adults with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities.

“Our Makers Market is more than just a shopping event; it’s a celebration of ability, creativity and community,” said Karen Govern, CEO of STARability Foundation. “This event provides participants in our innovative, transformative programs with real-world experience and the opportunity to proudly showcase and sell the products they’ve worked so hard to create.”

The Makers Market highlights STARability’s entrepreneurship curriculum, which empowers individuals with autism and IDD to develop business skills, build confidence and gain hands-on experience. Proceeds from the event directly support STARability programs and services.

STARability is currently inviting local businesses, artisans and entrepreneurs to participate as vendors. The event provides a unique opportunity to showcase and sell products to the Naples community, align brands with a mission-driven, inclusive organization, and build awareness through collaborative promotion.
