Sunshine Ace Hardware’s Holiday Round Up nets $57,605 for Children’s Miracle Network
Sunshine Ace Hardware’s successful Holiday Round Up raised $57,605 to support Children’s Miracle Network during an eight-week fundraising campaign.
From Nov. 1 to Dec. 31, customers at any Sunshine Ace Hardware or Crowder Bros. Ace Hardware retail store in Southwest Florida could round up their purchases or choose a specific dollar amount to donate at the cash register. Sunshine Ace Hardware also matched a portion of donations.
“Our customers and associates always step up to support charitable causes, whether it’s pediatric health care, water quality, youth programs or other initiatives,” said Michael Wynn, president of Sunshine Ace Hardware. “What’s incredible about our Holiday Round Up is that donations come a nickel, dime or quarter at a time, proving the collective power of our community’s generosity truly can make a difference in the lives of local children and families.”
Donations made at Sunshine Ace Hardware stores in Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties support Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida through Children’s Miracle Network.
Donations at Sunshine Ace Hardware in Pinellas County and Crowder Bros. Ace Hardware stores in Manatee County support Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg through Children’s Miracle Network, a nonprofit organization that helps cover the costs of patient services for children and families, charitable care for patients lacking sufficient funds or insurance, and education programs for patients, families and the community.
Donations also allow hospitals to purchase life-saving equipment and provide advancement services for innovative programs and projects.
Since declaring Children’s Miracle Network as its primary charitable partner in December 2019, Sunshine Ace Hardware has raised $454,821 through a series of successful fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
