Wake Up Naples: Surtax in Action – Building for Veterans and Our Community

Description
In 2018, Collier County voters approved an infrastructure sales surtax to fund vital community projects — including a state veterans nursing home. After initial setbacks, Collier now has secured the necessary land and funding match, and momentum is building to bring this long-awaited facility to life.
This session will provide community members with an important update on the project’s progress, discuss the broader impact of the surtax, and highlight how these investments are supporting veterans and improving local infrastructure.
