The Gore Nature Center is owned and operated by Cypress Cove Landkeepers. We are a Naples-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preserving and protecting Southwest Florida’s ecologically sensitive landscape from the devastating impact of over-development. We own and operate the 10-acre Gore Nature Center in the Golden Gate Estates area of Naples. Our mission is to encourage the conservation of critical habitats through environmental education and nature-inspired experiences.

We are seeking volunteers interested in nature and environmental preservation in Southwest Florida to fill the following positions:

Board Members- 

•    Member at Large

•    Development Director- responsible for grant writing, all fundraising activities, and communication with donors 

•    Education Director- Responsible for all educational activities 

       Volunteers

•    Volunteer Marketing Coordinator- Responsible for social media, newsletters, pr, advertising & community outreach

•    Volunteer Trail and Garden Management Coordinator - 

•    IT Volunteer (website and systems/software management)

•    Operations Volunteer: insurance review and oversight, Center/House management
